Blake strives to participate in telling stories that uplift and give authentic representation to voices in her community. Blake was recently a camera operator for the film ᎤᏕᏲᏅ (What They’ve Been Taught) which was an official selection at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. Blake also recently co-wrote, directed, and produced an animated series for the Cherokee Nation completely in the Cherokee language called Inage’i (In the Woods). She has won 4 Heartland Emmys for her work on the television show Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People.
