Blake Brown (Cherokee/Chickasaw) is an award-winning multidisciplinary filmmaker and artist from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Blake strives to participate in telling stories that uplift and give authentic representation to voices in her community. Blake was recently a camera operator for the film ᎤᏕᏲᏅ (What They’ve Been Taught) which was an official selection at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. Blake also recently co-wrote, directed, and produced an animated series for the Cherokee Nation completely in the Cherokee language called Inage’i (In the Woods). She has won 4 Heartland Emmys for her work on the television show Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People. Some of her other credits include; Night Country (HBO) Reservation Dogs (FX), Broad City, Louie, Vice, High Maintenance, The Beatles: Eight Days a Week, and more.
